Bilingua Concert 27th January 2016 Dublin

We are delighted to announce that  The Temple Bar Trad Fest will host a very special concert to celebrate the life, music and legacy of the seminal Irish singer Eithne Ni Uallachain, founder of the highly acclaimed group Lá Lugh.

Performed by the musicians she recorded with and the singers she inspired.

Featuring renowned artists; Karen Matheson (Capercaillie), Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh (Danú) and Pauline Scanlon (Lumiere), with an Allstar cast of musicians featuring; Gerry O’Connor – Fiddle, Gilles Le Bigot – Guitar, Neil Martin – Cello, Dónal O’Connor -Piano & Fiddle, John Fitzpatrick – Violin & Viola, Mario N’Goma – Percussion and John McSherry – Uilleann Pipes & Whistles.

The concert will be filmed for a forthcoming documentary which will broadcast on TG4 & BBC Alba.
